Rowlett Recap 📰
😎 WHAT’S HAPPENING
Traffic Safety Update: Dalrock Road Intersection Challenges Continue 🚦
Date: December 20, 2024
Location: I-30 Eastbound near Dalrock Road
This past week, a multi-vehicle accident near the Dalrock Road intersection caused significant traffic disruptions and resulted in several injuries. Emergency crews responded promptly, working to assist those involved and manage the scene. However, traffic congestion extended into Garland, with only two lanes open for hours during the clean-up and investigation.
The Dalrock Road intersection remains a high-risk area for accidents, highlighting ongoing safety and traffic flow concerns. In 2023 alone, Texas reported over 20,000 multi-vehicle crashes on highways, many of which occurred in similar high-traffic zones. This incident underscores the need for a long-term solution to enhance safety at this critical intersection.
How Can We Improve?
Addressing the issues at Dalrock Road requires input from the community. Your voice matters!
What changes would make this area safer for commuters?
Do you have ideas for improving traffic flow or reducing risks?
Share your thoughts with us by emailing [email protected] or commenting on our Facebook page. Let’s advocate for a safer Rowlett together.
🚘 Stay Safe: Remember to drive attentively, especially in high-traffic areas, and be mindful of road conditions during the holiday season.
