Rowlett Roundup-Issue No. 11

February 6, 2025

Hello Rowlett!

Welcome to Issue No. 11 of Rowlett Roundup.

I need to address a serious issue that is threatening the future of this newsletter. Lately, I’ve been receiving an unusually high number of spam reports, which appear to be intentional. Unfortunately, this is affecting email deliverability—not just for current and future editions of Rowlett Roundup, but also for my other media businesses. I’m not sure why this is happening, but I want to be clear: Rowlett Roundup is, and will always be, a free community newsletter with no political agenda or affiliation. Its sole purpose is to keep Rowlett residents informed about local events, news, and community happenings. If you value this newsletter, please mark this email as “Not Spam” and add us to your contacts to help ensure continued delivery. Your support is vital in keeping Rowlett Roundup alive and serving our community. Thank you for being part of it!

This week’s issue is packed with great dining finds, exciting events, and community updates to keep you in the know! From hidden gem restaurants to library events, sports, and city meetings, there’s plenty happening around town. Whether you’re looking for a new favorite spot to eat, a fun activity for the family, or a way to stay engaged with local happenings, Rowlett Roundup has you covered. Let’s dive in!
